Solo Episode: Answering Your Questions About Why I Started This Podcast and What’s Coming Next.
Ever wondered why I started this podcast—or who it’s really for? In this week’s episode, I’m reflecting on the journey of Curious Life of a Childfree Woman so far, answering some of your most frequently asked questions, and sharing a glimpse of what’s ahead for 2025.
This solo episode is all about celebrating individuality, exploring unconventional choices, and staying endlessly curious.
Why I Created This In The First Place
When I launched Curious Life of a Childfree Woman, I had a clear intention: to create a space where curiosity could thrive. While I proudly bring a childfree perspective, this podcast isn’t just for people like me—it’s for anyone who loves exploring life’s big questions and finding new ways to live authentically.
I chose to include “childfree” in the title because it reflects an important part of my identity, but this show is about so much more than that. It’s about asking bold questions, sharing diverse perspectives, and redefining fulfillment in ways that resonate with all kinds of people.
Answering Big Questions
Some of the questions I’ve heard from listeners since launching the podcast include:
Why is “childfree” in the title if this podcast isn’t only for childfree people?
Why did you personally choose to be childfree, and when did you know?
What topics are you excited to explore next year?
In this episode, I answer each of these in detail, sharing my personal journey to embracing a childfree life and my vision for what’s ahead. I also talk about the societal norms that shaped my early expectations—and how stepping away from those brought me a profound sense of relief and joy.
Actionable Steps for Living Curiously
If you’re looking to live more curiously and embrace your individuality, here are a few ideas to get started:
Reflect on your own path. Are your current choices aligned with what you truly want, or are they influenced by outside expectations?
Engage in open conversations. Surround yourself with people who encourage honest dialogue and curiosity.
Ask bold questions. Whether it’s about career, relationships, or personal growth, don’t shy away from exploring the “why” behind your choices.
Curiosity isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about being willing to ask questions.
Let’s Stay Curious Together.
